Dancing with the Stars Season 11: Actor/rapper Kyle Massey

The Atlanta-born Kyle Massey is one of the stable of Disney Channel actors who has also released songs through Walt Disney Records.

FAMOUS FOR: Massey played, Cory Baxter, the little brother of the title character in the Disney Channel sitcom “That’s So Raven” and would be the star of the spin-off “Cory in the House.” “That’s So Raven” ran from 2003 to 2007 and starred Raven-Symone as Raven Baxter. The family lived in San Francisco and has psychic powers, sometimes seeing the future and sometimes misinterpreting what she has seen. “That’s So Raven” was Disney Channel’s longest running live-action series. It ran for four season and had 100 episodes.

“Cory in the House” changes the setting. The father, Victor (Rondell Sheridan), has become the head chef in the White House. Beginning in 2007, the show is still currently on the air.

Massey starred in the 2005 Disney Channel movie “Life is Ruff” which is about a popular kid who needs $5000 to buy the last comic book he needs to complete his collection. In order to do so, he adopts a dog named Tyco hoping to win the prize in a dog show. Massey raps a song “It’s a Dog” and sang the theme song: “Yin Yang Yo!”

Massey’s renditions of “Jingle Bells” was on the Disney Channel Holiday soundtrack and he sang “Who Let the Dog Out” on the soundtrack “Shaggy Dog” movie soundtrack.

His older brother Christopher Massey, is also an actor.
