Caltech milonga celebrates 7th anniversary with fundraiser
Ian and I have a special place in our hearts for Caltech. There’s where we met and where Ian proposed. This Friday, the Caltech milonga celebrates its seventh year with a benefit to raise money for Japan through special fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders, and their emergency response efforts in Japan and other places in need of medical humanitarian assistance. The celebration includes live music from Tangonero, a special guest DJ from San Diego and a performance by the affable Luis Bianchi and Daniela Pucci.
The Caltech tango club will donate $5 from every admission. While the milonga begins at 10 p.m. tomorrow, the fun with Bianchi and Pucci actually begins today with a workshop on colgadas.
Bianchi and Pucci will also be teaching a workshop prior to the Friday milonga for a separate fee.
