Macy Gray and the Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble Sunday

Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble, Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Agape International Choir with Guest Artists, Harel Skaat, “Dancing with the Stars” alum Macy Gray, Abraham McDonald & MC Lyte present “RHYTHM & ROOTS” Sharing Cultures through Music and Dance to Benefit Youth on Sunday, August 28 at the Ford Amphitheatre.
WHAT:
RHYTHM & ROOTS: A Benefit Concert – Celebrating the connection and diversity of the world’s cultures through music and dance, Israeli-American Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble, African American Lula Washington Dance Theatre, and multi-ethnic, interfaith Agape International Choir join together for a cross-cultural evening under the stars. Also featuring guest artists Israeli superstar Harel Skaat, two-time Grammy Award winner Macy Gray, R&B singer Abraham McDonald, and legendary female rapper MC Lyte. The benefit concert supports Children Uniting Nations, an organization that brings attention to the plight of at-risk and foster youth, and Keshet Chaim’s youth education programs, which serve to eradicate ethnic and cultural barriers through the arts.

PARKING:
On-site, stacked parking: $5 per vehicle. FREE satellite parking and FREE shuttle to the Ford available at Universal City Metro Station lot at Lankershim Blvd. and Campo de Cahuenga. Shuttle stops in the “kiss and ride” area and cycles every 15-20 minutes.

OTHER:
Dress warmly for outdoor seating.
