DWTS 14 Week 1: William Levy the hottest package

I was in love with William Levy before I even knew his name. Weren’t you? We can  thank Jennifer Lopez for that one. He was hot in her video “I’m Into You,” but he didn’t dance. Last night on the premiere of “Dancing with the Stars” season 14, he proved that even with less time than the other celebs, he can dance. Levy cha cha’d into the audience’s hearts.

Levy has the hunk-factor, and is not ashamed to move his hips. We want him to smile more and remember where his hands are. He and Cheryl Burke were heating up the floor to “International Love” by Chris Brown feat. Pitbull.

Bruno Tonioli told Levy he was overdressed.

Carrie Ann Inaba said, he had real partnering skills and liked they way he moved. Ladies, what that an understatement or what?

Len Goodman noted that Levy had captured the spirit of the dance but still kept things under control.

Control was a problem for the audience. So JLo! Why didn’t you let the man dance? Do you want to see more?

I’m thinking William Levy who is for American audiences (who don’t watch Spanish language TV) a relative unknown will be like the pairing of Burke and Gilles Marini. I hope he keeps up the quality and keeps on dancing.

Tonioli pronounced Levy “the hottest package of the season.” I agree. Levy and Burke were the top score in the cha cha cha and finished Monday night in third behind Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas and Jaleel White and Kym Johnson who tied for first and danced the foxtrot to a score of 26.

  • Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas: 26
  • Jaleel White & Kym Johnson: 26
  • William Levy & Cheryl Burke: 24
  • Jack Wagner & Anna Trebunskaya: 23
  • Roshon Fegan & Chelsie Hightower: 23
  • Sherri Shepherd & Val Chmerkovskiy: 23
  • Gladys Knight &Tristan McManus: 23
  • Maria Menounos & Derek Hough: 21
  • Donald Driver &Peta Murgatroyd: 21
  • Gavin Degraw & Karina Smirnoff: 20
  • Melissa Gilbert & Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 20
  • Martina Navratilova & Tony Dovolani: 20

  1. All right, he’s beautiful, he can dance like a dream and then he hits you with that accent. It isn’t even fair to us mere mortals!
