DWTS 14 Week 6 Results: Good night Gladys Knight
Motown Week on “Dancing with the Stars” was full of sentimental hits, and a sentimental favorite left the ballroom. We knew it was only a matter of time, but Gladys Knight made her journey with such class and a little sass that we regret seeing her go.
What we’d love is to see her back singing with her Pips or even faux and funny Pips. Too bad Motown didn’t think of having Gladys Knight in her prime dancing with those guys. It could have been hot. It could have inspired a musical.
Knight and MacManus were pitted against Disney star Roshon Fegan and his partner Chelsie Hightower. The song was “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. The dance was the quick-moving jive. Knight will be 68 at the end of May (28) while Fegan is 20. Pitting the oldest contestant against the youngest in one of the dances that requires stamina is sort of a no-brainer.
