Audrina Patridge attends MTV VMAs

How can a girl ignore the network that made her famous? Audrina Patridge knows that being famous just for being famous isn’t easy and when MTV held their annual Video Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, she showed up in silver.

Patridge also needs to build up a fan base for “Dancing with the Stars” where she is paired up with Tony Dovolani.

Patridge wasn’t the only celebrity from “The Hills.” Lo Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt were also on hand and they also chose to sparkle, but in gold, not silver.

“The Hills” was an MTV reality show that premiered on 31 May 2006 and followed the life of Lauren Conrad, who had starred in “Laguna Beach.” It included her new friends in Los Angeles. The final episode aired on 13 July 2010.

“Dancing with the Stars” premieres its 11th season on 20 September 2010 (Monday) on ABC.

Dancing with the Stars Season 11: Did Playboy reject Audrina?

After the high profile presence of Hugh Hefner during season 9 when Joanna Krupa looked like a contender for the mirrorball as well as the Catholic Girls Gone Wrong list and season 10 when Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson showed that she could portray sexy blonds of the past, but not necessarily win the hearts of DWTS fans, it seems like the celebrity spot for the Playboy bunny has been closed in season 11. Not so. This season, the sexpot spot if filled by a wanna-be bunny.

The young but eager to be famous Audrina Patridge actually had some nude shots done hoping to become one of the many women drooled over in “Playboy” magazine. These photos were reportedly taken soon after she graduated from high school and before she became part of the MTV reality show, “The Hills” in 2006.

We won’t publish the nude photos here, but you can see them on Celebuzz “What Would Tyler Durdendo?”

This isn’t new news since the article above and others were originally published on and around 18 March 2008. In some, Patridge is shown dressed up as a school girl.

According to the articles, these photos were submitted to “Playboy” but rejected. If the now 25-year-old Patridge does well in DWTS season 11, does that mean she’ll have a Playboy future?
